This course contains the webinar recording, PDF handout, pre- and post-test, and CME, CMLE, and certificate of attendance. This interactive live webinar is part 17 of the Emerging and Evolving Biomarkers Series.
Description:
In this session, we will review The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) molecular classification in endometrial carcinoma and how these subtypes are integrated with histologic classification and staging, as well as review the clinical implications. We will describe various approaches and assays for determining the molecular subtype and discuss associated pitfalls and challenges. Lastly we will cover ERBB2 (HER2) predictive biomarker testing in endometrial cancer.
Learning Objectives:
- Accurately classify endometrial cancers into one of the four TCGA molecular subtypes and compare the clinical features and staging implications.
- Describe the methods for establishing TCGA molecular classification in endometrial carcinoma.
- Describe ERBB2 (HER2) predictive biomarker testing in endometrial carcinoma.
