Antimicrobial susceptibility testing methodologies used in clinical laboratories remains dominated by phenotypic testing. Molecular methods are becoming more common, including the use of whole genome sequencing, which may be able to predict antimicrobial susceptibility. This session will explore the feasibility of genomic susceptibility testing to predict appropriate treatment for Infectious Diseases.
