This session will focus on the implementation & validation of a circulating cell free DNA assay for sequence variants, copy number variations, and fusions. The speakers will discuss the clinical indications for ccfDNA testing with an emphasis on the importance of clinical correlation and the pitfalls that may arise when viewing ccfDNA data in isolation. Challenges such as interpretation of somatic versus germline variants as well as interpretation of variants arising in the context of clonal hematopoiesis wil be emphasized.
