In this lecture, Dennis Lo shares his journey from the discovery of fetal DNA in maternal plasma to the development of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). He also discusses the application of plasma DNA analysis to early cancer detection. Finally, he discusses recent understanding of the biology of circulating DNA in blood.
