This online course includes all the recorded presentations, course materials, and case study handouts from the live 2020 Get AMPed! Updates and Case Studies in Molecular Pathology Course held virtually on November 15, 2020.
CME/CMLE credit are available with the purchase of this course.
This course is designed to provide an overview of techniques and instrumentation used from the framework of the "Molecular Pathology/Molecular Diagnostic Toolkit." In this course, faculty members will take an exciting look at current molecular hot topics from the AMP president and an up-to-date discussion of SARS-CoV-2 testing. They then review preanalytical variables that impact molecular testing, testing modalities for the assessment of genome structure, and the application of next-generation sequencing and informatics to clinical practice. These sessions will be supplemented by interactive, case-based presentations that will illustrate important teaching points for each topic.
